Ecotherapy is an umbrella term that describes the process of healing that occurs naturally while spending time in nature. Though it is primarily a "nature as therapist" approach, I hope to co-facilitate and guide this process in order to help you align with the healing powers inherent in the natural world and in you. The research has been mounting. Spending time in nature has some serious health benefits, including: decreased stress/anxiety levels, improved mood and feelings of health and robustness, a strengthened immune system, as well as improved mental performance and creativity.
*RATES of ecotherapy sessions vary from in office rates, based on duration and location. Please inquire if you are intersted. 510-289-0203. firstname.lastname@example.org
Weekly Ecotherapy Group
This ongoing group is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in taking their therapy outdoors—into the beautiful oak, bay, and redwood forests of the Oakland hills. This group is for those who would like a respite from the bustle and hustle of the city, in need of time and space to slow down and reconnect with your self, strengthen your mindfulness/meditation practice, and process the challenges in your life with the guidance of nature and a licensed ecotherapist.
This group will meet every Thursday morning (10am - 12pm : $40 per person) and every Sunday morning (10am - 1pm : $50 per person) on an ongoing weekly basis. This is a drop-in class, but please call 510-394-5830 or email: email@example.com to rsvp. *See below for location: Redwood Bowl Staging Area in Redwood Regional Park
